As an Employee Relations Manager, you will be responsible for managing HR operations, grievance redressal, and legal compliance. This role demands a proactive and empathetic professional who can foster a positive work culture while ensuring adherence to labor laws and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations & Grievance Handling:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns and grievances.
- Investigate and resolve workplace issues in a timely and confidential manner.
- Develop and implement policies to promote fair treatment and compliance.
HR Operations:
- Oversee day-to-day HR processes related to employee lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding, exits, and transitions.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and compliance.
Legal & Compliance:
- Liaise with legal teams to ensure labor law compliance and risk mitigation.
- Support disciplinary actions and terminations in line with legal frameworks.
- Stay updated on employment laws and advise management accordingly.
Stakeholder Management:
- Partner with business leaders and HRBPs to align ER strategies with organizational goals.
- Conduct training sessions on workplace ethics, anti-harassment, and compliance.
Must Have
- MBA/PGDM in HR or related field.
- 8-12 years of experience in Employee Relations, HR Operations, and Legal Compliance.
- Strong understanding of labor laws, industrial relations, and grievance redressal mechanisms.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience in the TMT or similar fast-paced industry preferred.
