Manager - Direct Taxation - Manufacturing Industry - CA

Role : Team Manager Direct Tax

Location : Nariman Point, South Mumbai

Experience : 4 - 8 Years

Qualification : Chartered Accountant (CA) - First or Second Attempt Preferred

CTC : Up to 28 LPA

We are looking for an experienced Direct Tax Professional to join a leading corporate tax function and take ownership of direct tax compliance, assessments, litigation, advisory, and tax governance activities.

Key Responsibilities :

- Direct Tax Compliance & Reporting

- Corporate Taxation & Tax Audits

- Income Tax Assessments & Litigation

- Appeals before CIT(A), ITAT, High Court & Supreme Court

- Drafting of Notices, Submissions & Appeals

- Tax Advisory & Stakeholder Management

- Tax Risk Management & Governance

- Coordination with Auditors, Consultants & Legal Counsels

Required Skills :

- Strong knowledge of Income Tax Act & Rules

- DTAA & Corporate Taxation Expertise

- Tax Assessments & Litigation Experience

- SAP Hands-on Experience

- Strong Drafting & Representation Skills

- Excellent Communication & Stakeholder Management

Preferred Background :

- Manufacturing Industry Experience Preferred

- Large Corporate Tax Functions

- Candidates from Big 4 Firms (KPMG, Deloitte, PwC, EY) will be highly preferred
