Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tax Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of direct taxation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure timely compliance with corporate tax obligations, including filing of returns, assessments, and TDS matters.

- Prepare submissions for scrutiny assessments, rectifications, stay applications, and appeals before Income-tax Authorities and Appellate Tribunal.

- Represent clients before tax authorities and follow up on assessments, refunds, and stay orders.

- Provide advisory support on corporate tax laws, regulatory matters, and tax planning strategies.

- Prepare memos, presentations, and impact analysis on latest case laws and circulars.

- Coordinate with audit teams on tax provisioning and tax audit finalization.

- Lead and manage tax engagements, mentoring and developing junior team members.

- Stay updated with changes in tax regulations, attend trainings, and conduct technical research.

Required Qualifications Skills:

- CA or equivalent qualification;

- 5+ years of experience in direct taxation.

- Strong knowledge of Indian corporate tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.

- Experience in handling assessments, appeals, and tax advisory assignments.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Leadership skills with the ability to manage a team and multiple client engagements.

- Proficiency in MS Office.

- High ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality.
