Job Summary: - We are seeking a highly experienced Search & Seizure Specialist with expertise in Direct Tax and Domestic Tax Laws. - The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Indian tax regulations, search & seizure matters, direct tax litigation, and advisory services. - The role involves handling high-profile tax cases, managing regulatory interactions, and providing strategic tax planning solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and advise on Search & Seizure matters, assessments, appeals, and litigation. - Provide expert guidance on Direct Tax and Domestic Tax Laws, including corporate taxation, individual taxation, and regulatory compliance. - Represent clients before tax authorities, appellate tribunals, and other regulatory bodies. - Handle direct tax assessments, reassessments, and compliance with tax audit requirements. - Liaise with government authorities such as the Income Tax Department and CBDT. - Develop tax-efficient structures and strategies for clients. - Monitor amendments in tax laws and provide timely updates and strategic insights. - Assist in tax due diligence, advisory, and risk management. - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including legal and finance teams. Key Requirements: - 8+ years of experience in direct taxation with a focus on Search & Seizure, Domestic Tax Laws, and tax litigation. - CA/LLB/MBA (Finance) or an equivalent qualification. - Strong experience in representing clients before tax authorities and tribunals. - Expertise in handling tax compliance, audits, and assessments. - Excellent knowledge of Indian Tax Laws, ITAT proceedings, and corporate taxation. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to handle high-pressure situations and complex tax matters. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working with a Big 4 firm, law firm, or reputed tax consultancy. - Exposure to international tax matters and cross-border taxation is an advantage. - Strong knowledge of transfer pricing and BEPS regulations is a plus.
