Profile : Manager-Direct Tax & Advisory

Qualification : CA Qualified

Experience : 1 to 3 years of relevant experience (Post Qualification)

Location : Indore

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Supporting direct tax client engagement teams on technical queries

2. Preparation of tax alerts/ summary on recent direct tax judgments

3. Research and assistance in preparation of research papers to formulate the firm's positions on direct tax issues

4. Research and assistance in writing technical articles for print and online media

5. Research and preparation of direct tax flyers and thought leadership publications

6. Keeping regular track on latest tax developments and preparing summaries

7. Research for internal and external technical sessions

8. Preparation of standard checklists for direct tax

9. Assistance in budget related exercise including preparing presentations

10. Assisting on any other assignments from a direct tax perspective, as may be required

Desired Profile:

- Education: CA

- 1-3 years of experience (Post Qualification)

- Good communication skills (Verbal & Written)

- Good research skills

Skill Set:

- Knowledge about tax databases

- Ability to carry out research on tax issues

- Basic knowledge on tax treaties (A.M. expected to have Good knowledge on treaties)

- Acquainted with various source of direct and international tax literature eg. Commentaries etc. (Must for A.M.)
