Digital Communication Department: CottonConnect is a social enterprise working to transform global cotton supply chains by connecting farmers with brands and retailers and supporting a more transparent, resilient and sustainable cotton industry.
Our work spans fashion and textiles, agriculture, global supply chains and sustainability, from regenerative and organic farming and farmer livelihoods to traceability, responsible sourcing, climate resilience and human rights.
About the role: We are looking for a creative, proactive and highly organised Manager of Digital Communications to help bring CottonConnect's global work, expertise and impact to life.
Working closely with the Head of Strategic Communications and Partnerships and the Director of Insights, you will support the delivery of CottonConnect's communications across social media, website, digital campaigns, visual and video content, project communications, insights and industry events.
This is a hands-on role for a go-getter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
You will bring ideas, spot communications opportunities and take ownership of turning them into engaging, high-quality content.
You will work closely with programme, country and customer-facing teams globally, helping translate technical information, research, project developments and impact into communications that resonate with brands, retailers, partners and the wider industry.

- Turn programme information, research, technical expertise and impact data into accessible and engaging communications.
- Develop case studies, project stories, interviews, customer communications, presentations and other content.
- Communicate topics including regenerative and organic agriculture, soil health, water, biodiversity, climate resilience, farmer livelihoods, traceability and responsible sourcing.
- Connect what is happening at farm level with the sustainability and sourcing priorities of global fashion brands and retailers.
- Extend the life of research and reports through ongoing content rather than one-off launches.
- Support communications around CottonConnect's participation in key fashion, textile, agriculture and sustainability events.
Visual identity & creative content:
- Champion CottonConnect's visual identity and ensure consistency across digital communications.
- Develop creative concepts for campaigns, projects, reports, events and content launches.
- Create and commission graphics, photography, infographics, animations and shortform video.
- Develop video ideas and coordinate filming, editing and production.
- Brief and manage designers, photographers, videographers and other creative partners.
- Maintain a strong and organised library of photography, video and digital assets.
Website, SEO & digital performance:
- Manage day-to-day website content, ensuring it remains current, relevant and engaging.
- Apply SEO best practice and identify opportunities to improve CottonConnect's search visibility.
- Conduct keyword research and optimise content for priority audiences and topics.
- Monitor website performance and recommend improvements using analytics and audience insights.
- Keep abreast of changes in search, AI and digital behaviour and recommend new approaches where relevant.
