Role Overview:


This is a managerial leadership role responsible for UK accounting operations, client advisory, and service delivery governance for a portfolio of UK clients. The role involves strategic oversight of accounting operations, stakeholder management, process optimisation, and people leadership, aligned with global service delivery standards.

The incumbent will work closely with senior leadership to drive operational excellence, scalability, and client satisfaction across UK engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. UK Accounting Operations & Governance:

- Own end-to-end UK accounting and bookkeeping delivery for multiple UK clients.

- Ensure compliance with UK VAT regulations, statutory requirements, and client-specific SLAs.

- Act as a senior reviewer to ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency in deliverables.

2. Client Advisory & Stakeholder Management

- Serve as the primary escalation and advisory point for UK clients.

- Lead regular governance calls, performance reviews, and expectation alignment discussions.

- Build long-term, consultative client relationships focused on value delivery.

3. Team Leadership & Capability Building:

- Lead and manage multi-member accounting teams.

- Drive performance management, capability development, and succession planning.

- Foster a high-performance, process-driven delivery culture.

4. Delivery Excellence & Process Transformation:

- Own workflow planning, capacity management, and SLA adherence.

- Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and standardisation initiatives.

- Support onboarding and stabilisation of new UK clients and complex engagements.

5. Reporting & Business Insights:

- Report directly to the Director - Operations.

- Provide data-driven insights on delivery performance, client health, risks, and improvement opportunities.

- Partner with leadership on scaling operations and service maturity.

Qualifications (Preferred):

- MBA (Finance / Operations) from a Tier-1 / Premier B-School

- CA / ACCA


- B.Com / M.Com with significant post-qualification leadership experience


Experience & Skill Requirements

- 8+ years of experience in UK accounting / bookkeeping with client-facing exposure

- Proven team leadership and stakeholder management experience

- Strong understanding of UK VAT, compliance, and accounting standards

- Ability to operate in a client consulting + delivery leadership role

- Excellent communication and senior stakeholder handling skills

Ideal Candidate Profile

- Tier-1 MBA / CA professional with strong UK accounting exposure

- Experience in global service delivery / KPO / consulting environments

- Strategic thinker with hands-on operational depth

- Comfortable owning P&L-linked delivery metrics, SLAs, and client satisfaction
