- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and returns.

- Ensure FIFO/FEFO adherence, especially for expiry-sensitive or regulated products.

- Implement and monitor Warehouse Management System (WMS) processes to improve inventory accuracy and picking efficiency.

- Conduct regular inventory audits, cycle counts, and variance analysis.

- Minimise stock damage, shrinkage, expiry, and obsolescence.

Inventory & Planning:

- Support demand planning and inventory replenishment to avoid stock-outs and overstocking.

- Maintain optimal safety stock levels and warehouse capacity utilisation.

- Coordinate closely with procurement, sales, and customer service teams for smooth order fulfilment.

Vendor & Compliance Management:

- Manage relationships with warehouse vendors, transporters, and service providers.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards applicable to logistics and warehousing operations.

- Maintain proper documentation, SOPs, and audit readiness.

Process Improvement & Reporting:

- Define and track logistics and warehouse KPIs such as inventory accuracy, order fulfilment rate, turnaround time, and cost efficiency.

- Perform root-cause analysis for delays, errors, and operational issues.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, 5S, or Kaizen methodologies.

- Prepare regular MIS and operational performance reports for management review.

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong understanding of logistics, warehousing, and distribution operations in e-commerce or retail environments.

- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

- Good knowledge of inventory management, FIFO/FEFO, and expiry-sensitive product handling.

- Strong vendor management and coordination skills.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to track KPIs and improve operational performance.

- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume operational setup.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.

- Postgraduate qualification or certification in Supply Chain / Logistics will be an added advantage.

Required Experience:

- 5-10 years of overall experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations.

- 3+ years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role handling warehouse and logistics functions.

- Prior experience in e-commerce, retail, FMCG, or low shelf-life product environments is preferred.

- Experience working with 3PL partners and multi-location warehouses is desirable.
