Manager/ Dy. Manager (Finance & Accounts)
You will be responsible for driving financial discipline across the organization by overseeing Management Accounting, MIS reporting and Audit functions. This is a leadership role demanding strategic thinker who can partner with senior management while maintaining robust financial governance.
Key Responsibilities:
A. Management Accounting:
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts including Depot P&L, Analyzing and Controlling Promotional Schemes etc
- Coordinate with Depots and Sales team to ensure the P&L correctness
- Develop and maintain standard costing models, variance analysis reports, and cost centre- wise profitability statements.
- Drive annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and multi-year financial planning in coordination with business heads.
- Conduct detailed product costing, overhead allocation, and margin analysis to support pricing decisions.
- Provide insightful financial commentary and actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Accounting Standards Ind AS in all financial reporting.
B. MIS & Financial Reporting
- Design, develop, and manage a comprehensive MIS framework covering all key financial and operational metrics.
- Publish weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc MIS dashboards and reports for management decision- making.
- Coordinate with all department heads to collect, validate, and consolidate data for accurate MIS preparation.
- Track and report on KPIs including revenue performance, cost efficiency, EBITDA
C. Audit Management
- Manage and coordinate Statutory Audit, Internal Audit and Cost Audit end-to-end.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for statutory auditors and facilitate smooth audit execution.
- Prepare and review audit schedules, workpapers, and support documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
- Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
- Conduct periodic internal audits of all branches, warehouses, and business verticals as per the approved audit plan.
- Ensure adherence to audit timelines, coordination with branch / plant finance teams, and resolution of queries.
- Prepare Audit Committee presentations and assist in developing audit charters and internal audit policies.
- Review related party transactions, capital expenditure approvals, and contractual obligations for compliance.
Qualification And Experience:
1. CA with Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in a mid-to-large corporate environment preferably from Manufacturing/FMCG/ Fertilizers or Agri Input Sectors
2. Hands-on experience in Management Accounting, MIS reporting and audit management.
3. In-depth knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), Companies Act 2013, and SEBI regulations.
4. Strong understanding of Direct & Indirect Tax laws including GST, TDS, Income Tax
5. Proficiency in financial modelling, scenario analysis, and business case preparation.
6. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
7. Experience with BI tools - Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent for financial data visualization.
8. Working knowledge of cost accounting standards and product costing methodologies.
9. Ability to interpret complex financial data and translate into actionable business insights.
