Manager - Demand Planning - eCommerce

About the Role :

- We are looking for a Demand Planning Manager who can drive accurate forecasting, data-backed decision-making, and actionable insights to optimize supply-demand alignment.

- This role is critical in ensuring inventory efficiency, demand visibility, and business growth through strong analytical rigor and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities :

Demand Forecasting & Planning :

- Develop and manage short-term and long-term demand forecasts using historical data, trends, and market inputs

- Improve forecast accuracy through advanced analytics and continuous refinement

- Build and maintain demand planning models and frameworks

Data Analysis & Insights :

- Analyze large datasets to identify demand patterns, seasonality, and growth opportunities

- Generate actionable insights to support business planning, pricing, and promotions

- Track and report key metrics such as forecast accuracy, fill rates, and inventory turns

Cross-Functional Collaboration :

- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to align demand plans

- Integrate inputs from campaigns, product launches, and market trends into forecasts

- Drive S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes

Inventory & Supply Optimization :

- Ensure optimal inventory levels to minimize stock-outs and overstock situations

- Support supply planning with data-driven demand signals

- Recommend actions to improve working capital efficiency

Process Improvement & Automation :

- Identify opportunities to automate forecasting and reporting processes

- Implement tools/models to enhance planning efficiency and accuracy

- Drive continuous improvement in demand planning processes

Must-Have :

- 7-10 years of experience in Demand Planning/Forecasting/Supply Chain Analytics

Strong expertise in :

- Forecasting techniques & demand planning models

- Advanced Excel/SQL/data analytics tools

- Proven ability to work with large datasets and derive actionable insights

- Experience in S&OP processes and cross-functional planning
