Manager - Demand & Supply Planning - FMCG

Demand Forecasting:

- Develop accurate SKU-level forecasts using historical data, sales trends, and market insights.

- Work closely with Sales & Marketing to incorporate promotions, new launches, and demand shifts.

- Conduct monthly demand reviews (S&OP / IBP cycles).

Supply Planning:

- Prepare supply plans based on demand forecasts and production capacities.

- Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, and warehouses to ensure timely replenishment.

- Optimize stock levels to avoid out-of-stock and overstock situations.

Inventory Management:

- Maintain optimal safety stock levels and ensure healthy inventory turns.

- Monitor slow-moving and non-moving stock; recommend liquidation or corrective actions.

- Track near expiry inventory and take preventive measures.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

- Serve as the bridge between Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance.

- Lead weekly/monthly planning meetings and align stakeholders on key supply priorities.

- Work with vendors to manage lead times, MOQs, and supply constraints.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

- Track and analyze forecast accuracy (FA), bias, and service levels.

- Generate weekly/monthly inventory and supply dashboards.

- Provide actionable insights for improving supply efficiency and demand predictability.

Process Improvement:

- Identify and implement improvements to forecasting tools, replenishment processes, and planning models.

- Support automation, digitization, and system enhancements (SAP, APO, IBP, Oracle, or similar)

Other Requirements:

- Strong analytical and numerical skills.

- Excellent knowledge of forecasting, planning tools, and ERP systems (SAP, Excel/Advanced Excel).

- Solid understanding of supply chain processes (production planning, procurement, logistics).

- Ability to handle large datasets and generate insights.

- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

- Problem-solving mindset with high attention to detail.
