Manager - Demand & Supply Planning

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Demand & Supply Planning Manager to lead the end-to-end planning function across demand forecasting, supply planning, inventory optimization, and cross-functional alignment. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, an excellent understanding of FMCG operations, and the ability to drive forecasting accuracy and ensure product availability with minimal supply chain risks.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market insights, and sales inputs.

- Lead monthly S&OP processes and collaborate with sales, marketing, procurement, and production teams.

- Manage supply planning to ensure uninterrupted product availability across channels.

- Optimize inventory levels - balancing stock availability with working capital targets.

- Monitor forecast accuracy and implement corrective actions to reduce forecast errors.

- Analyse demand & supply gaps and develop actionable recommendations.

- Coordinate with manufacturing and logistics teams to align production schedules with market requirements.

- Track key KPIs: OTIF, forecast accuracy, inventory turns, fill rate, and service levels.

- Support new product launches with demand projections and supply readiness.

- Identify risks in demand and supply plans and create mitigation strategies.
