Debt Syndication Manager
As a Debt Syndication Manager, you will be at the forefront of structuring and executing debt financing solutions for our clients. Your day-to-day will involve originating, structuring, and syndicating debt transactions across various sectors. You will collaborate closely with corporate clients, internal credit and risk teams, and external financial institutions to deliver optimal financing outcomes. This role directly impacts our clients' ability to achieve their strategic objectives by providing access to crucial capital, thereby driving business growth and strengthening our market position.
Key Responsibilities :
- Originate and develop debt syndication opportunities by proactively engaging with corporate clients and understanding their financing needs.
- Structure complex debt transactions, including term loans, working capital facilities, and project finance, tailored to clients' specific requirements.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis and due diligence to assess creditworthiness and develop robust financial models.
- Prepare comprehensive information memoranda and presentations to market debt transactions to potential investors.
- Manage the syndication process, including coordinating with legal counsel, negotiating terms and conditions, and ensuring successful deal closure.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, and other investors to expand our syndication network.
- Monitor market trends and regulatory changes to identify new opportunities and ensure compliance.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated ability to structure and execute debt syndication transactions, including financial modeling and credit analysis.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and financial institutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of corporate finance principles, capital markets, and financial structuring techniques.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- 2-10 years of relevant experience in Debt Syndication, Corporate Banking, or related fields.
