Debt Syndication & Deal Structuring: - Lead the syndication process for debt transactions, including structuring the deal, coordinating with lenders, and ensuring the successful closing of transactions. - Work closely with senior management and clients to understand financing needs and craft tailored debt solutions. - Liaise with legal and compliance teams to ensure all debt syndication agreements meet regulatory and legal requirements. Relationship Management: - Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with lenders, investors, and financial institutions to facilitate smooth syndication processes. - Act as a primary point of contact for lenders and clients during the syndication and negotiation stages. Coordinate with lenders to ensure timely disbursals and favourable terms for clients. Credit Risk Evaluation: - Support the credit evaluation process by working closely with the credit evaluation team to assess borrower creditworthiness. - Identify key risks associated with debt syndication deals and work to mitigate those risks through careful structuring and negotiations. Negotiation & Transaction Closure: - Negotiate terms and conditions with lenders and other stakeholders to structure favourable financing solutions for clients. - Ensure client coordination between all parties to close deals in a timely manner. Market Insights & Reporting: - Keep abreast of the latest market trends, industry shifts, and lender preferences to ensure the best possible outcomes in debt syndication deals. - Prepare and present regular reports to senior management, summarising deal performance, market activity, and emerging opportunities.
