About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Manager Deals Strategy to join a fast-growing team within a global consulting environment. The role focuses on supporting international deal strategy and M&A advisory practices by providing high-quality research, analysis, and strategic insights across diverse industries.
The Deals Strategy team plays a vital role in shaping the M&A landscape, working with private equity and corporate clients to develop investment perspectives, commercial strategies, and value creation plans across the deal lifecycle from investment strategy and due diligence to post-close transformation and exit planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of problem solvers to deliver high-quality strategic and analytical outputs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with onshore teams and global stakeholders.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects while ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.
- Develop standardized delivery frameworks such as vendor benchmarking, survey analysis, and competitive intelligence models.
- Drive continuous improvement in team processes, capability development, and quality standards.
- Design and implement onboarding and training programs for new team members.
- Provide coaching on analytical thinking, problem-solving, and project execution.
- Support business development initiatives including proposals, workshops, and client engagement materials.
- Promote innovative approaches and the use of technology in research and analysis.
- Stay up to date with M&A trends and emerging sector developments.
- Uphold the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and professionalism.
Required Experience and Skills:
- 8-10 years of total experience with a strong background in team management, consulting, or service delivery operations.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Hands-on experience in primary and secondary research, data analysis, and creation of client-ready deliverables.
- Exposure to private equity, commercial due diligence, target screening, or M&A advisory preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau/Power BI, or other data visualization tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business acumen.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to multi-task and maintain high performance without compromising quality.
