Manager - Deals Due Diligence - Deals Advisory Team - CA

The Client is seeking for a Due Diligence Expert on Deals to join the Deals Advisory team in Mumbai. The client is a leading international network and India's pre-eminent consulting firm. Offering a range of solutions in assurance, tax, technology, managed services, deals, ESG and risk consulting to mid-market companies, government, large corporates, and digital natives.

Job Summary :

Help deal-team with creation of databooks and report and perform various analyses around Quality of Earnings (QoE), Quality of Revenue (QoR), Quality of Working Capital and Adjusted Net debt across different sectors.

Key Responsibilities :

1) Efficiently handling fieldwork on financial due diligence engagements.

2) Summarizing and analyzing financial/accounting information relating to income statements, balance sheets, profitability data, quality of earning, quality of net assets etc

3) Analyzing revenue, margins, costs, assets, liabilities with the objective of identifying key issues such as normalized earnings, net debt, Liabilities, net working capital trends, valuation model input assumptions, analysis of forecasts etc.

4) Preparation of due diligence reports highlighting key findings and presenting summary analysis and Assisting in preparation of client proposals.

5) Creating strong relationships with clients and Target management and acting as SPOC in Supporting in project delivery, supervision and reviewing engagement teams fieldwork, reporting of diligence findings and coordination with other service lines like tax etc. within the firm.

6) Anchoring due diligence projects along with delegation of work, review of work performed by consultants and trainees.

Qualifications:

Required: Qualified CA

Preferred: Experience in assurance services/financial due diligence will be an added advantage

Client facing experience is preferred.

Skills and Competencies:

- Excellent accounting skills and strong understanding of financial statements

- Ability to work independently and strong attention to details;

- Proficiency in speaking and writing English;

- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint;

- Should be able to communicate with clients / targets on the phone and email.

- Experience Level: 4 - 7 years of experience
