Manager - Data Science - IT

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Data Science professional with strong Azure expertise to lead the design, development, and deployment of data science and machine learning solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working in Azure ML environments, delivering end-to-end data science projects, and guiding teams in a consulting/enterprise setup.

Candidates must have a minimum of 3+ years of work experience as a Data Scientist, with Big 4 experience preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and operationalize machine learning models using Azure Machine Learning, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and other Azure native tools.

- Lead end-to-end project cycles including problem scoping, solution design, model development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.

- Perform data preparation, feature engineering, and data processing using Azure tools and modern data engineering practices.

- Build scalable and reliable data pipelines for analytics and ML use cases.

- Apply strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms, statistical methods, and MLOps best practices.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure solution alignment and successful delivery.

- Ensure documentation, governance, and quality standards across all data science deliverables.

For Manager Level:

- Lead and mentor junior team members and analysts.

- Oversee project planning, workload management, and stakeholder communication.

- Ensure timely delivery of high-impact solutions.

Hands-on experience with:

- Azure Machine Learning (AML)

- Azure Data Factory (ADF)

- Azure Databricks

- Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis, model development, and ML pipeline creation.

- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical analysis, and model evaluation techniques.

- Experience deploying ML models in production using Azure-based architectures.

- Strong data integration and data processing skills using Azure tools.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
