Manager - Data Bricks

- We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Data Bricks Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 12-18 years of progressive experience in data engineering, data analytics, and data science with proven expertise in managing teams and delivering large-scale solutions using the Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.

- This is a senior-level leadership role requiring both strong technical capabilities and people management skills.

- The individual will be responsible for driving critical business solutions, collaborating with stakeholders, and mentoring junior professionals to deliver impactful results across multiple domains.

- As a Data Bricks Manager, you will be responsible for team decisions, ensuring that deliverables are met with the highest level of quality, performance, and scalability.

- You will also be expected to engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions that align with the organization's overall data strategy. This role requires the ability to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams, ensuring that best practices are defined, followed, and improved continuously.

- You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs, translating these into efficient, scalable, and innovative data solutions. The role will involve configuring and customizing applications to meet specific business process requirements.

- A focus will be on performing code reviews and ensuring adherence to coding standards, while also providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members to enhance their skills and career growth.

Professional & Technical Skills:

- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform, including advanced knowledge data pipelines, data workflows, and data governance.

- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Microsoft Azure Data Services and Microsoft Azure Analytics Services, enabling seamless integration and deployment of cloud-based data solutions.

- Strong understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms, enabling the candidate to contribute to advanced analytical modeling.

- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI, with the ability to communicate insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

- Hands-on experience implementing various machine learning algorithms such as linear regression, logistic regression, decision trees, and clustering algorithms to solve complex business challenges.

- Solid grasp of data munging techniques, including data cleaning, transformation, and normalization to ensure data quality and integrity across systems.
