Job Description - Data Analytics - Manager (6-10 yrs)

Location: Pune, India

Shift: Night Shift (Global Team Support)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an analytically driven and hands-on professional to join our Analytics Team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a passion for data analytics.

This role involves leveraging analytics and visualization tools to present insights that drive fact-based decision-making. The candidate will also be responsible for optimizing data flows and exploring new data sources for integration into database and visualization platforms.

Our Analytics Team supports global clients by identifying high-value prospects, creating custom audiences, and delivering targeted messaging using advanced data and modeling techniques. This function plays a critical role in driving business growth and enhancing client engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports for key business metrics

- Use analytics and visualization tools to deliver actionable insights

- Collaborate with business and operations teams to define KPIs and automate reporting

- Ensure data integrity and compliance by working with data owners

- Retrieve, aggregate, and transform data from multiple sources into meaningful insights

- Deliver reports to clients and internal stakeholders within timelines

- Build reports using data warehouse systems

- Review reports for discrepancies and anomalies

- Troubleshoot data-related issues

- Ensure adherence to formatting and delivery standards

- Identify and integrate new data sources into analytics platforms

Perform data cleansing and manipulation activities, including:

- Taxonomy classification

- Conversion renaming and grouping

- Removal of test/invalid impressions

Required Qualifications & Skills:

- 3-5 years of experience in the Analytics domain

- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Quantitative Finance, Actuarial Science, or Engineering

- Strong expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau / Power BI / Looker)

- Advanced SQL skills with experience in complex queries and multi-dataset joins

- Strong communication and data presentation skills

- Ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders

- Willingness to work in night shifts

Preferred Skills:

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and ambiguous environment

- Experience in defining business metrics and reporting requirements

- Working knowledge of Python for handling large datasets

- Advanced MS Excel skills (VBA is a plus)

- Understanding of media and marketing domain
