Manager - Costing & Material Control

Designation: Manager, Costing Manager/ Material Controller.

Job Type: Contractual 6 month.

Location: Hinjewadi Phase 1, Tal Mulshi, Pune.

Experience: 8-10 Years.

Qualification: CMA.

Shift Timing: 9:30 AM - 06:30 PM.

Work days: 5 days on site.

Mission of job:

Responsible to control material cost, analyse, prepare product group profitability.

Education required:

CMA with 8-10 year of experience in financial analysis and business case preparation.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

- Plan and implement systems and process to improve growth of business.

- Establish working rapport with business partners across company.

- Work as business partner for all product groups.

- Prepare statistical analysis of plans and financial results and management report.

- Prepare and analyse business case in line with growth plan.

- Compile, challenge and monitor business cases as well as financial scenarios that enable business decision.

- Cost runs for every month, maintains annual rates.

- Works with cross functional team for routing times and capex to improve profitability.

- Work on the Product wise profitability.

- Working with SCM on inventory controls, slow moving and NRV.

- To assist CFO, MD and Business unit lead in decision making.

- HK1 and beyond HK1 costing.

- Prepare analysis to ensure new projects are viable or not.

- Business unit / product group wise variance reports such as actual vs budget vs business case.

- Drive to meet the profitability and drive actions to improve operations, investment and growth plan.

- Contributes in budget planning for the year with clear analysis of revenue, profitability of each Business Unit or Product group.

- Analysis of contribution margin.

- Knowledge of SAP is must.

- Flexibility and adaptability to keep pace with changing and time constraint business case preparation.

- Ability to communicate effectively with peers and leadership.

- Self-starter, strong analytical skills to understand and drive business.

- Good communication skills.

- Well developed PowerPoint and excel skills.

- Exposure to automation tools / BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
