Role Overview:
The Corporate Strategy Manager will play a key role in shaping the organizations growth agenda by identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic opportunities. The role will support corporate development initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), market assessments, strategic partnerships, and business expansion opportunities. The individual will work closely with senior leadership to provide actionable insights on market trends, competitive dynamics, and investment opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Corporate Strategy & Business Planning:
- Support the development and execution of the companys long-term strategic plan and growth initiatives.
- Conduct market, industry, and competitive analyses to identify emerging opportunities and potential threats.
- Develop strategic recommendations and business cases for new markets, products, services, and growth initiatives.
- Prepare presentations and strategic reports for executive leadership and board-level discussions.
Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A):
- Identify and evaluate potential acquisition, investment, and partnership opportunities aligned with the companys strategic objectives.
- Lead market screening, target identification, preliminary assessments, and strategic fit analysis.
- Support financial, commercial, operational, and strategic due diligence processes.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external advisors throughout transaction execution.
- Assist in post-merger integration planning and value realization initiatives.
Market Opportunity Assessment:
- Evaluate market attractiveness, growth potential, customer trends, and competitive landscapes across target sectors and geographies.
- Develop market entry strategies and assess expansion opportunities.
- Analyze industry developments and emerging business models to support strategic decision-making.
Strategic Proposals & Investment Evaluation:
- Review and assess business proposals, investment opportunities, and strategic initiatives.
- Build and evaluate business cases, including market sizing, revenue potential, risks, and strategic alignment.
- Provide recommendations to leadership based on quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Market Intelligence & Updates:
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, competitor activities, and macroeconomic factors.
- Prepare regular market updates and strategic insights for senior management.
- Develop dashboards and reporting frameworks to track key market and strategic indicators.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or related fields.
- Experience in M&A transactions, due diligence, market assessments, and strategic planning.
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and strategic analysis frameworks.
