We are hiring for a leading organization which is a client of InnoQuest.
Key Skills:
- Prepare accurate monthly financial reports, assist in the preparation of presentations that provide thoughtful analysis, identify action items, and effectively frame decisions that need to be made
- Review, process, gather, and compile accounting transactions and documents throughout the month for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with general accounting principles and established internal control policies and procedures.
- Ensure financial integrity and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close processes.
- Partner with stakeholders across Divisional Financial Operations to improve financial and accounting accuracy
- Record and review journal entries related to Divisional branch results
- Review and investigate reconciliation variances, assisting management to develop appropriate action plans addressing issues identified
- Provide support for internal and external audits including control walkthroughs, documentation support and inquiry response
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate cross-functionally to meet strict project execution deadlines

- Provide FP&A finance support to the accounting teams related to productivity, demand planning, reporting, and metrics in a timely manner.
- Identify and understand business challenges; propose and create solutions.
- Partner directly with the finance team and onsite FP&A groups to collaborate on metrics, goals, and business reviews
- Dive deeply into financial data and become a subject matter expert to provide additional insights
- Work on corporate projects and initiatives that might impact the entire organization
- Create presentations that provide insightful analysis, identify required action items, and effectively frame decisions to be made.
- Budgeting and Forecasting, data extractions use of diverse financial systems (Lawson, Seibel, etc.)

- Must possess analytical skills. Responsible for advanced problem solving. Should be able to filter, prioritize, analyze and validate information.

- Demonstrated ability to drive projects across an organization
- Ability to put together information in a structured manner; building the business case, white papers etc.
- Should be able to build solutions, drive consensus across stakeholders and help them make the right choices

- Excellent time management skills.
- Excellent planning and organizing skills, especially prioritizing multiple projects / tasks.
- Ability to document processes and policies
Other Preferred Requirements:
- Valid Indian Passport with at least 2 years remaining for expiry - THIS IS A MUST HAVE
- Candidates with existing US Visa and/or UK Visa is preferred
- Good working knowledge of the insurance brokerage business
- Proficiency with Excel and Access including links, macros, database development and forms
- Good experience in Financial Accounting or Public Accounting
- Proficient computer, financial data, internal consulting, and customer-focused communication and presentation skills
- Strong organizational skills with proven ability to follow through on multiple tasks and priorities
- Advanced level skills in Excel
