To support our growth we seek a Manager to grow our US Wholesale Power team in our Europe and Asia business based in New Delhi. The US Wholesale Power team works closely with their counterparts in the US and is fully integrated into the project delivery cycle. The US Wholesale Power team works on the energy industry including the areas of wholesale power, demand, emissions, fuels and transmission forecast of energy (coal, gas, renewable, electricity) and environmental markets for North America.  Take responsibility for managing the Qualitative and quantitative work which is performed by the team in the areas of energy, power and fuels markets, power plant operations, and transmission. The Manager must be able to collaborate with all departments and be skilled at communicating with all levels of staff and clients in the field of utilities, independent power producers, and financial players..  He/she will also serve as the team lead in Delhi and assume full responsibility of meeting the team's objectives. He/she will need to manage junior staff, retain the lead on all project issues within the team and coordinate with Delhi and US managers.  Key Responsibilities:  - Serve as the team lead and assume full responsibilities of the team's objectives  - Manage the day to day operations of the team and coordinate with Delhi and US managers on project related issues  - Take lead on advanced quantitative and economic analysis of energy markets projects globally, to assess and forecast the future of electric power and fuels markets, prices, power plant operation and valuation, fuel consumption, environmental emissions and compliance, transmission, and regulatory effects, among other parameters.  - Take lead on modeling, analysis of results and preparation of project deliverables  - Manage project team and take responsibility for quality control of project deliverables  - Develop project plan and timeline and allocate project tasks to team and ensure timely delivery of outputs  - Mentor and train new staff to help them to attain independence for project execution  - Able to work within the cross-cultural work environment and be able to communicate effectively within that environment  Basic Qualifications:  - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Operations Research or Business Administration  - Minimum 10+ years- experience, including 2 years of managing others  - Strong leadership skills and ability to define and meet objectives  - Demonstrated quantitative analysis skills, strong modeling skills, advanced Microsoft Office (Excel and Access) skills, desire to work in a dynamic team environment, strong interest in economics / finance and the energy industry  - Experience in data analysis and quality assurance  - Excellent written and oral communication skills  - Must be organized, detail oriented, and have the ability to prioritize and multitask, and work under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment  Preferred Skills/Experience  - Strong knowledge of energy markets structure and operation  - Strong financial modeling and valuation skills  - Power sector consulting or industry expertise  - Strong knowledge of power markets contract instruments (PPA, Tolling agreement)  - Due diligence experience
