Manager - Compliances/Operations

Manager - Compliances/Operations - IR - AIF 3 and offshore fund

We are looking to hire people who could perform at least 2-3 of the functions below. Please note this is a NO work from home role.

1. Compliances: Compliance/audit of AIF 3 and investment advisory.

2. Operations/NAV: Shadow accounting, reconciliation and approvals of NAVs of AIF 3 and for the offshore Fund

3. Accounting: Clearing Invoices of AIF 3, coordinating with service providers for smooth running of AIF 3, coordinating for audit of AIF 3 and for the offshore fund.

4. IR: Updating and providing performance updates, presentations, attributions, holdings and other data to investors of AIF 3 and addressing their queries. At times providing the same for offshore fund catering to institutional investors.

5. Subscriptions/redemptions and queries: Coordination with administrators with AIF 3 for subscriptions/redemptions and at times for the offshore fund.

6. Global: Knowledge of side letters/agreements and some compliances related to US, ADV's, experience of ODDs of investors.

7. Structuring/taxes: Structuring of new funds/structures in India or overseas, gift city, knowledge/experience of transfer pricing/ POEM/handling tax litigation.

8. Trading: Placing trade orders. Allocating trade across other Funds pari-passu.

Relevant Experience 4 to 10 years. Age less than 3-5 years at the time of applying. Should be sharp with good analytical and communication skills, fluency in English. Should be self-driven,process and long term oriented with an eye for detail.

Firm/Group Profile:

Offshore Fund: Bowhead India Fund is a long only offshore fund investing in a concentrated portfolio 15-20 companies with medium term to long-term view (2 years to 5 years). The Fund is domiciled in Mauritius and manages money largely for offshore institutional investors such as global Endowments/Foundations/FoF based out of US/Europe/Hong Kong/Singapore. The Fund was started in Dec 2019. Firm AUM is upwards of USD 400 Millon.

Onshore business: The group has recently set up an AIF 3. It also provides equity investment advisory services to couple of large family offices; these will be transferred to AIF 3 in coming quarters.
