
Overview:
Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring that all data centre operations adhere to local regulations, ISO standards, and internal compliance frameworks. In addition to overseeing internal and external audits, managing compliance-related incidents, and driving corrective actions, the Compliance Manager acts as the regional Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for compliance matters. This role also leads the regional compliance team, ensures alignment with EHS policies and green building certifications, and collaborates closely with Operations, EHS, Risk, and COE teams to continuously improve compli-ance adherence across our facilities.
Main Responsibilities:
Compliance Governance & Regulation
- Ensure adherence to local regulations, ISO standards, and internal compliance frameworks across all data centres.
- Enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and governance frameworks aligned with industry best practices.
- Maintain and update compliance dashboards to provide real-time visibility on audit findings, risks, and regulatory re-quirements.
Audit, Certification & Risk Management
- Develop and deliver compliance training programs for operational teams to enhance awareness and adherence to regula-tory standards.
- Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for non-compliance findings and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Maintain accurate documentation and records, acting as the custodian for all compliance-related materials.
- Utilize standardized notification templates to communicate compliance updates, audit results, and incident resolutions
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all compliance-related matters, ensuring alignment with company policies and industry regulations.
- Coordinate with internal legal teams, external auditors, and regulatory authorities to facilitate smooth compliance process-es.
- Oversee and mentor the regional compliance team, ensuring that responsibilities are clearly defined and executed effec-tively.
- Collaborate with Operations, EHS, Risk, and COE teams to continuously refine and improve compliance practices.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATION:
Required: Bachelor's degree Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferred: Advanced certifications in compliance, risk management, or related areas
WORK EXPERIENCE
(Minimum years of experience required) - Minimum 12+ years of experience in incident management or operations within a data centre or critical IT environment.
- Proven expertise in managing audits, certifications, and regulatory assessments in a complex, multi-site environment.
- Demonstrated experience in leading regional compliance teams and interfacing with regulatory authorities.

- Ability to make swift, informed decisions under pressure.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on accountability.
- Proactive and detail-oriented, with robust analytical skills.

Technical Skills - Strong knowledge of local and international regulatory standards, ISO norms, and data centre compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in audit management, risk assessment, and CAPA methodologies.
- Familiarity with compliance dashboard tools and ERP systems for tracking certifications and audit metrics.
- Ability to review and interpret regulatory documentation and compliance reports.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel as needed for site visits, vendor meetings, and stakeholder engagements.
