Job description: Job Summary: The Compensation and Benefits Manager (India) will lead the Compensation and Benefits Team to ensure employee packages are in alignment with company policies and guidelines, are competitive, and are compliant with legal and fiscal regulations in the region. Responsibilities: - Implement the organization's C&amp;B strategy in consultation with HR Lead &amp; other Sr. Leadership. - Design, implement and administer the organization's compensation and benefits programmes and activities so that they meet the organization's objectives with regards to internal equity and external market competitiveness. - Topic areas covered: Job evaluation and classification, salary administration, short term, long term and sales incentive plans, share /stock ownership plans, employee benefits (such as health, insurance, motor vehicles, perquisites, expatriate compensation, executive compensation, workers compensation, salary packaging, retirement, pension and superannuation plans. - Liaise with functional or operation area managers to develop and implement local compensation programs that are appropriate for their business needs, but consistent with the organization's overall global reward strategy. - Analyse and evaluate external market data as well as internal data about the organization's current employee population and future human resource needs to develop salary budgets and forecasts that are consistent with the organization's global reward strategy. - Select, and manage ongoing relationships with external consultants and suppliers (for example, insurance carriers, actuaries, benefit providers) to ensure the organization receives satisfactory standards of service and cost efficiency. - Manage the organization's established human resource programmes so that they are implemented efficiently and equitably - Collaborate with the global team to understand and implement changes within an organizational practice. - Working with HR teams at all locations in Asia to ensure data quality, accuracy and availability as per organizational needs. - Direct preparation and distribution of written and verbal information to inform employees of benefits, compensation, and personnel policies. - Training and supporting the HR organization with regards to the C&amp;B programs and practices. - Researching and scrutinizing the general factors like the government policies changes in the tax structure, market conditions etc. - Ensure compensation and benefits standards comply with company policies and/or other regulations or legislation. - Assist in development of home country policies and procedures to support the compensation and benefits function. - Participate in market and salary surveys as required. - Participate in due diligence during mergers and acquisitions. - Assist in annual merit, bonus and equity grant process. - Help prepare government filings, plan audits, or other tax-reporting requirements. - Ensure compliance with Data Privacy and Protection Guidelines - Provide oversight and direction to C&amp;B analyst, including coaching, mentoring and development. - Perform tasks related to securing and keeping the products, tools, and processes that you are responsible for secure.
