Comp & Ben Manager - 6-9 yrs - BLR - FinTech
Job Description:
The Compensation & Benefits Manager will be instrumental in developing, evaluating & implementing Comp & Ben programs. The position demands strong analytical abilities, advanced Excel skills, and a solid grasp of both local & global compensation practices.

The client is a US-headquartered financial technology firm. They are a global Software Development organization.
Description:
Compensation:
- Assist in the design, evaluation & administration of Compensation and Benefits programs.
- Deliver Cost per Head (CPH) analytics, including maintaining budgeted CPH figures, managing quarterly forecasts, and conducting variance analysis.
- Oversee annual compensation review cycles encompassing budgeting, salary structure updates, merit reviews, and promotion planning.
- Collaborate with Finance on accruals, forecasting, and compensation spend reporting.
- Perform Market Benchmarking and internal equity assessments to ensure competitive and fair pay practices.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Develop and maintain advanced Excel models for Compensation planning, CPH monitoring and reporting.
- Prepare regular reports and dashboards for leadership on salary expenditures, headcount, Benefits usage, and market insights.
- Convert analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for decision-makers.
Governance & Compliance:
- Ensure Compensation & Benefits programs comply with applicable local regulations in each country.
- Maintain and update policies, procedures, and governance guidelines.
- Support audits and internal reviews related to Payroll and Comp & Ben processes.
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate closely with HRBPs, Finance, and senior leaders on compensation-related planning and decisions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor on compensation and benefits topics.
- Provide guidance and training to managers and HR Partners on C&B frameworks.
Profile:
A successful individual in this role should have:
- Strong knowledge of Compensation principles and practices across India and US (experience/exposure to APAC is an advantage).
- 6-9 years of relevant work experience in Compensation management role.
- Solid understanding of benefits programs, with a strong interest in developing deeper expertise across various geographies.
- Strong communication abilities and effective stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in a global or multi-country HR environment.
- Knowledge of compensation surveys, benchmarking practices, and vendor management.
- Experience with HR systems or compensation tools.
- An MBA from a reputable institution is preferred.
