Manager - Civil

Job Brief:

Seeking a highly capable Civil Project Manager to oversee Data centre construction projects.

He will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing civil engineering projects, interior fitouts to ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

The successful candidate will have a detailed understanding of construction processes, project management principles, and relevant legal regulations.

Ultimately, he needs to deliver high-quality construction projects that meet the required safety standards and project specifications.

Responsibilities:

- Managing the planning and design stages of construction projects.

- Familiar in the execution of interior fitouts, plumbing etc.

- Contributing technical expertise to project drawings and designs.

- Performing cost calculations and prepare financial projections.

- Ensuring adherence to legal regulations, building and safety codes, and other requirements.

- Managing PMC team to ensure project execution aligns with plans and specifications.

- Resolving any issues that may arise during project execution.

- Ensuring project completion within the stipulated timeline and budget.

- Reporting project progress to senior managers and stakeholders.

- Conducting site checks to monitor progress and quality standards.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Civil Project Manager.

- In-depth understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles.

- Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.

- Excellent knowledge of relevant rules and regulations as well as quality standards and human resources.

- Proficiency in construction/ project management software.

- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

- A team player with leadership abilities.

- BE/B. Tech in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or relevant.
