About the opportunity:
We're a fast-scaling, design-first consumer brand building out new and existing categories. This role covers the full arc from researching a category to building it. You'll uncover where the opportunity lies, size it and validate it, then shape it into a product range and drive it to launch. It sits right where insight, strategy, design, and sourcing meet, working closely with the founders.
Where you'll make an impact:
1. Research & insight:
- Spot gaps and untapped demand through consumer research, trends, and category study.
- Size opportunities, map competitors, and benchmark pricing and positioning.
- Run consumer research end-to-end - surveys, interviews, review analysis, and concept testing.
- Turn findings into clear, decision-ready recommendations.
2. Category & product development:
- Shape the category, the product range, line-up, and how the pieces fit together.
- Set the assortment, price architecture, and margin framework.
- Drive product development with design and sourcing - brief to sample to shelf.
- Own the go-to-market plan, then track performance and refine the range after launch.
What makes you a fit:
- An MBA from a leading IIM, plus 4-7 years in category management, product/NPD, market research, or consumer strategy/consulting.
- A strong analytical mind equally at home with data (sizing, surveys, P&L) and qualitative insight.
- Comfort working closely with design and sourcing/vendor teams.
- The ability to turn ambiguity into a clear, executable plan and drive it across teams.
- Sharp consumer instincts and a genuine eye for product.
- A great first year: a validated pipeline of opportunities, a well-built category in market, and launches landing on schedule - all backed by real evidence.
