Responsibilities: Inventory Management: - Implement and periodically review inventory norms across all nodes of the supply chain, including warehouses and Wholesale Dealers (WDs). - Maintain and periodically review SKU classification, making relevant changes to optimize inventory management. - Monitor stock flow to ensure equitable distribution of stocks between WSPs, facilitating inter-WSP transfers when necessary. - Proactively raise alarms for deviations or drops in stock levels for SKUs within the allocated category. - Liaise and coordinate with Logistics to ensure the timely placement and movement of stocks to WSPs. Category Management: - Ensure the right network configuration is in place, in close consultation with the Strategic Business Unit (SBU). - Determine and ensure the effective execution of deployment strategies for finished goods across the network. - Regularly monitor stock availability and production adherence to ensure the timely servicing of Stock Transfer Requests (STRs) on a daily basis. - Engage proactively with the production teams to align production schedules with demand forecasts, ensuring fulfillment of WSP demand. Systems & Processes: - Ensure that the agreed network and transportation lanes are accurately configured within the SAP system. - Coordinate with the production team regarding production changeovers and ensure necessary demand realignment through the demand planner whenever required. - Re-run the inventory model as needed to assess new inventory norms in response to significant network changes. S&OP Process: - Take ownership of the preparation of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) templates for both the Pre-S&OP and S&OP meetings. - Coordinate all activities related to the demand side of the sales and operations planning process, ensuring accurate and timely input. Qualifications: - Minimum of 8-12+ years of experience in supply chain planning, demand planning, inventory management, or category management within a relevant industry. - Proven experience in implementing and managing inventory norms across a complex distribution network. - Strong understanding of SKU classification methodologies and their impact on inventory management. - Experience working with SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, particularly in supply chain modules. - Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize inventory levels. - Excellent understanding of supply chain principles, logistics operations, and distribution network design. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve stock-related issues effectively. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners. - Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools. Skills: - Inventory Planning & Management: Deep understanding of inventory control techniques, forecasting methods, and stock optimization strategies. - Category Management: Ability to understand market dynamics, consumer behavior, and translate them into effective deployment strategies. - Supply Chain Network Design: Knowledge of different distribution network models and their impact on inventory and service levels. - Demand Planning: Understanding of demand forecasting processes and their integration with inventory planning. - SAP Proficiency: Hands-on experience with SAP supply chain modules, including configuration and reporting. - Data Analysis & Reporting: Ability to analyze large datasets, generate insightful reports, and communicate findings effectively. - Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. - Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve complex supply chain challenges. - Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and concisely.
