Why this role exists:
We're a fast-growing, design-led consumer brand, and great new products start with great research. This role is the engine behind our launches uncovering unmet needs, sizing opportunities, testing concepts, and building the evidence that tells us what to build and why. You'll be the voice of the customer in every product decision.
You'll own:
- Opportunity discovery: spotting unmet needs and whitespace through consumer research, trends, and category analysis.
- Market and competitor research: sizing opportunities, mapping competitors, and pricing/positioning benchmarks.
- Consumer research: end-to-end surveys, interviews, focus groups, reviews mining, and social listening.
- Concept testing and validation: putting early ideas in front of customers and reading the signal before we invest.
- Turning research into clear, decision-ready recommendations for design, sourcing, and leadership.
- Tracking post-launch performance and feeding learnings back into the next product.
You'll thrive here if you:
- Have an MBA from a top IIM and 3-6 years in market/consumer research, insights, product research, or consumer strategy/consulting.
- Are analytically sharp: comfortable with both numbers (sizing, surveys, data) and qualitative insight.
- Can turn ambiguity and messy signals into a clear, defensible point of view.
- Communicate crisply: your research drives decisions, not just decks.
- Have genuine consumer curiosity and an instinct for what people will love.
- What success looks like in year one: a validated pipeline of product opportunities, launches backed by real evidence, and research that leadership actually acts on.
- Bonus: consumer-goods or D2C background, hands-on with research tools and survey platforms, and experience supporting product launches from scratch.
