Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and analytical Business Finance Manager to join our team and drive financial performance across departments.
This role requires a strategic thinker who can bridge the gap between finance and business operations, providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making, budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes in collaboration with business units.
- Analyze financial performance, variances, trends, and key business metrics.
- Present financial insights and recommendations to leadership.
Business Partnering:
- Act as a finance business partner to multiple departments (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Operations).
- Provide financial support and guidance on business strategies and decisions.
- Ensure cost optimization and ROI-driven investments.
Performance Management:
- Develop KPIs and dashboards to monitor financial and operational performance.
- Conduct monthly/quarterly business reviews with stakeholders.
- Identify areas for revenue enhancement and cost reduction.
Reporting and Compliance:
- Prepare and deliver regular financial reports, variance analyses, and executive summaries.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with audit teams and support statutory audit requirements.
Cash Flow & Working Capital Management:
- Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements.
- Partner with treasury for fund flow optimization and liquidity planning.
Process Improvement:
- Recommend and implement improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting tools.
- Leverage automation and digital tools for enhanced decision-making.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA Finance or CA preferred).
- 5-7 years of experience in business finance, FP&A, or financial business partnering.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Expertise in financial modeling, scenario analysis, and profitability studies.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and financial ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Experience working with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Certifications (Optional):
- Chartered Accountant (CA)
- CFA / CPA
- Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
