Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager Semiconductor to lead strategic growth initiatives and expand our presence within the semiconductor ecosystem. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building long-term partnerships, and driving revenue growth across customers, suppliers, and technology partners. The ideal candidate brings strong industry insight, commercial acumen, and the ability to execute scalable growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Growth & Strategy:
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities across semiconductor design, manufacturing, validation, or ecosystem partnerships.
- Develop and execute go-to-market and account growth strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform strategic decisions.
Partnership & Client Management:
- Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with key customers, partners, distributors, and technology alliances.
- Own and grow existing accounts by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Act as the primary commercial interface for strategic clients, ensuring long-term engagement and satisfaction.
Execution & Collaboration:
- Work closely with engineering, product, marketing, and delivery teams to translate customer requirements into viable solutions.
- Lead negotiations, pricing discussions, contracts, and commercial closures.
- Ensure smooth handover from business development to delivery and ongoing account management.
Planning & Performance Management:
- Develop business plans, revenue forecasts, and pipeline reports for leadership review.
- Track KPIs, sales metrics, and partnership performance to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
- Drive disciplined execution of initiatives to ensure timely and successful outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of business development, sales, or strategic account management experience, preferably in the semiconductor, electronics, or deep-tech industry.
- Proven track record of building partnerships and closing high-value deals.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor value chains, customer buying cycles, and enterprise sales processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on, execution-focused mindset.
