About the Role:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving growth and expanding Renevik Solars footprint across industrial and manufacturing sectors. The role requires a dynamic professional with a strong understanding of solar EPC models and the ability to build long-term client relationships while achieving business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in solar EPC, captive/group captive, and PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) models.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with CXOs, decision-makers, and key stakeholders in target sectors.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients, competitors, and emerging opportunities within the renewable energy industry.
- Drive lead generation, client engagement, proposal development, negotiations, and contract finalization to meet revenue targets.
- Collaborate closely with technical, design, and project execution teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and project delivery.
- Represent Renevik Solar at industry events, trade shows, and business networking forums to enhance brand presence.
- Monitor regulatory policies, government incentives, and renewable energy trends to identify and leverage business opportunities.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market insights to senior management.
- Ensure consistent achievement of sales, margin, and customer satisfaction targets.
- Drive customer retention by delivering exceptional service and maintaining long-term partnerships.
Required Skillsets:
- Strong knowledge of renewable energy, solar EPC, and power project models (captive, group captive, and PPA).
- Proven expertise in B2B sales, business development, and key account management.
- Excellent networking and relationship management skills with CXOs and senior industry leaders.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market trends and create actionable strategies.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and proposal documentation.
- Ability to work independently and deliver results in a target-driven environment.
- High level of professionalism, initiative, and business acumen.
- Willingness to travel frequently for business development and client meetings.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 4-7 years of experience in business development, sales, or key account management in the renewable energy or solar sector.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Deep understanding of industrial customer requirements, energy procurement, and solar project economics.
- Self-driven professional with a strategic and growth-oriented mindset.
