Role Overview.
We are looking for a Business Development Manager who will drive growth by building qualified conversations with founders and decision-makers, positioning Recruiting Genie as a long-term people partner, and ensuring disciplined follow-ups and coordination that support faster deal movement.
This role is primarily focused on business development, with light founder-level coordination responsibilities that directly enable revenue and client experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage startups, SMEs, founders, and HR leaders through LinkedIn, email, referrals, networking events and partnerships.
- Conduct structured discovery conversations to understand hiring and people challenges.
- Position Recruiting Genies services across RPO, Project-Based Talent, and People & Workplace Consulting.
- Qualify leads, manage follow-ups, and maintain a healthy business development pipeline.
- Coordinate founder-led client discussions by managing schedules, follow-ups, and next steps.
- Support proposal alignment, basic commercials discussions, and client communication drafts.
- Track opportunities, meeting outcomes, and action items to ensure momentum from conversation to closure.
- Develop and manage strategic partnerships with startup ecosystems, accelerators, and institutes/ colleges.
What Were Looking For:
- 2-5 years of experience in B2B business development for consulting, recruitment, or professional services.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and coordination skills.
- Ability to balance outreach, conversations, and execution discipline.
- Comfortable working closely with a Founder in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Highly organized, proactive, and outcome-driven.

Compensation:
