Role & Responsibilities : Manager - Business Development
- We are looking for a smart, proactive, and result-oriented Manager - Business Development to strengthen our client portfolio.
- The role involves managing a few existing client relationships while focusing primarily on acquiring new corporate clients who regularly invest in Out-of-Home (OOH) and experiential advertising.
- This position requires strong presentation skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to take full ownership of business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
New Client Acquisition:
- Identify, target, and convert corporate clients with OOH and experiential advertising requirements.
- Research industries and market trends to develop strategies for engaging prospective clients.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline with consistent lead generation and follow-ups.
- Develop customized proposals and presentations to highlight the company's capabilities.
Existing Client Management:
- Manage 2-3 active client accounts, ensuring satisfaction and long-term association.
- Act as a trusted advisor, offering solutions tailored to client objectives.
- Strengthen existing relationships by cross-selling and up-selling relevant services.
Presentation & Negotiation:
- Deliver impactful presentations to senior decision-makers across industries.
- Negotiate effectively to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes while meeting revenue goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proposals are innovative and achievable.
Business Growth & Ownership:
- Take full responsibility for business targets and revenue growth.
- Drive the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals.
- Maintain accurate reporting of business development activities, forecasts, and performance metrics.
Market Engagement:
- Stay updated on advertising trends, client spending patterns, and competitor activities.
- Represent the company at client meetings, networking forums, and industry events.
- Continuously build a strong professional network to unlock new opportunities.
Travel & Client Interaction:
- Be open to frequent travel for business meetings, pitches, and campaign oversight.
- Engage with marketing leaders and corporate decision-makers to establish trust and long-term business.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- 2-5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in advertising, OOH, experiential, or media sectors.
- Proven ability to acquire and manage corporate clients.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Smart, proactive, and result-driven with the ability to work independently.
- Comfortable with frequent travel for client meetings and business growth
