Job Title: Business Development / Key Account Manager (KAM)

Location: Pune / Aurangabad (office + frequent OEM travel)

Summary

Business Development/KAM candidates for company at a mid to senior level. Should have solid credentials in Auto OEM sales, especially within 2-wheeler, tractor, CV, or CE segments, Wiring Harness or Auto electronics experience an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own full business development and new client acquisition targeting procurement, engineering, and program leads at OEMs in CVs, tractors, 2-wheelers, or CE.

- Manage and expand key accounts: drive relationship deepening, customer satisfaction, cross-sell opportunities, and contract renewals.

- Negotiate contracts pricing, commercial terms, quality KPIs, long-term program agreements.

- Forecast sales, prepare monthly/quarterly pipeline and progress reports.

- Represent the company at industry conferences, OEM RFPs, technical workshops, and trade fairs.

Qualifications & Experience:

- 8+ years of experience in business development, sales, or key account management with automotive OEMs, especially in 2-wheeler, CV, tractor, or CE segments.

- Strong network and credibility with OEM procurement/engineering teams.

- Competitive hunter mindsetgoal-driven, and tenacious in securing wins independently.

- Strong problem-solving skills.

- Ability to collaborate across product R&D, supply chain, quality, and finance to ensure timely delivery and fulfilment of OEM commitments.

- Prior experience in Indian promoter-run manufacturing companies, with an understanding of decision-making processes, hierarchy, and pace.

- Engineering degree is a must (MBA is an added advantage).
