Job Title: Business Development Manager Staff Augmentation
Industry Focus: IT Staffing / Contract Hiring / B2B Sales
Role Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to lead new client acquisition and drive revenue growth in our IT staff augmentation vertical. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in B2B sales, especially within the contract staffing industry, and a passion for building long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities (KRA):
- Identify, pursue, and acquire new business opportunities in the IT staffing and contract hiring space
- Generate qualified leads and convert them into long-term strategic partnerships
- Develop customized staffing solutions for client requirements across various technologies and domains
- Build a robust pipeline of prospective clients through outbound prospecting, referrals, and networking
- Conduct regular client meetings and calls to understand hiring needs and challenges
- Negotiate and close business deals in alignment with company goals and profitability metrics
- Work closely with delivery and recruitment teams to ensure timely fulfillment of client mandates
- Maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and client stakeholders
- Prepare business proposals, presentations, and RFP responses
- Track sales activities, pipeline progress, and revenue goals using CRM tools
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging client demands
Required Skillsets:
- Proven experience (2 to 5 years) in IT staffing sales, business development, or recruitment solutions
- Strong understanding of contract hiring and staff augmentation business models
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets in a competitive B2B environment
- Experience with lead generation tools, CRM platforms, and sales outreach methods
- Ability to understand client pain points and position staffing solutions effectively
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently in a remote setup
- Knowledge of current hiring trends, technologies, and talent market dynamics
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, HR, or related field
- Prior experience in the IT recruitment or staffing industry is mandatory
- MBA is a plus
