About the Role:
- We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive new business opportunities, build client relationships, and expand the company's customer base.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for strategic sales planning, client acquisition, and revenue growth across assigned regions or verticals.
- This is a target-driven and client-facing role requiring strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- The candidate should have a proven track record in B2B/B2C sales, preferably within IT services, financial services, consulting, or product-based industries.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Business Growth:
- Develop and implement strategies to generate new business and achieve sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new markets, clients, and partnership opportunities.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and client needs.
- Create and manage a strong sales pipeline to ensure consistent business growth.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals.
2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
- Engage with potential clients through cold calls, meetings, events, and networking.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships to drive repeat business.
- Understand client pain points and propose tailored solutions.
- Ensure timely response to client queries, proposals, and RFPs/RFIs.
3. Strategic Planning & Market Development:
- Develop territory plans and account strategies for high-value clients.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to create effective campaigns and sales materials.
- Represent the company at industry events, seminars, and conferences to promote brand visibility.
- Provide feedback to leadership on market trends, pricing strategies, and competitor insights.
4. Proposal & Negotiation:
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and business presentations.
- Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and delivery schedules to close deals effectively.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth handover and delivery of client commitments.
5. Reporting & Performance Monitoring:
- Track and report sales metrics, pipeline status, and conversion ratios.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.
- Present periodic sales performance reports to senior management.
Key Skills Required:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition.
- Strong knowledge of sales processes, negotiation, and deal closing.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build trusted client relationships and manage key accounts.
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and strategic thinking.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office Suite, and sales reporting tools.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently or in teams
