The Indian data centre market has taken significant strides in the last few years and is now moving to its next phase of growth driven by digitization and technology shifts at a volume and velocity hitherto unseen.

The Strategic Business Development team is expected to help sharpen the market facing / external narrative, enable success across key emerging segments and shape successful execution of the company's growth strategy.

We are looking for an individual who brings to the table a winning mix of a strategic thinking mindset & hands on approach to execution with the hunger to make a visible difference amidst a rapidly evolving external environment

Role & responsibilities

Market Analysis

1) Work with external and internal stakeholders to maintain and sharpen the company's holistic market view. Ownership of market intelligence.

2) Research, identify and analyse key market trends in the data centre sector and sectoral adjacencies , emerging technologies, competition landscape, key segments , evolving customer requirements to support business development initiatives

3) Provide decision support to key internal stakeholders

4) Engage with and support/lead analyst and key external industry stakeholder engagement efforts

Business Development

1). Support the development and implementation of business development strategies aligned to companys business goals and objectives

2).Play a key role in strategic partnership development initiatives across the partner identification, thesis build, engagement , negotiation and go to market phases

3).Play a key role in identification , prospect engagement , pitch & proposal development for large opportunities with a focus on AI , GPUaaS and the Government space

4).Collaborate closely with multiple internal functions for value proposition building , execution and performance tracking of business development initiatives

Key Initiatives

1) Support strategic initiatives incl. related to new geography expansion, capability development around key aspects of the data centre business including power and networks

2) Play a key role in enhancing policy advocacy, policy benefit analysis and lead the process for maximizing policy benefits for the business

3) Play a key role in thought leadership engagement with senior government stakeholders and industry association & forums

4) Collaborate with marketing and other functions for brand building, improving strategic market positioning and enhanced market visibility

Preferred candidate profile

1). Should have 6-8 years of ICT centric experience in a strategy /business planning , strategic business/ product development role in industry, front facing business advisory at a consulting firm

2). Previous experience in business analysis , business development and strong external interface is a must have

3). Prior experience in the Data Centre space is an advantage

4) Familiarity and experience with strategic assessment frameworks , market research, Technical proficiency in opportunity analysis, customer pitch/proposal development and commercial acumen

5) Expertise in converting excels and research into insights and making impactful PowerPoint presentations

6) Understanding of the ICT ecosystem and preferably Data Centre colocation business.
