Role: Business Development Manager (BDM)

About the Role:
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research & Strategy:
- Develop regional go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and partnership frameworks.
- Assess trade policies, tariffs, and regulatory requirements for smooth and compliant market entry.
Business Development & Partnerships:
- Negotiate and structure deals, contracts, and joint ventures to drive growth.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with C-level executives and key stakeholders.
Sales & Revenue Growth:
- Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads, ensuring timely follow-ups and conversions.
- Support and guide regional teams in executing business development initiatives.
Brand Representation & Networking:
- Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring culturally relevant communication and positioning in each market.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with product and operations teams to adapt offerings for specific regions.
- Coordinate with legal and finance teams on contracts, compliance, and pricing structures.
Data, Insights & Reporting:
- Provide regular reports, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to leadership.
- Share insights to improve operations and enhance market penetration.
Innovation & Growth:
- Stay updated on geopolitical, economic, and trade developments impacting global strategy.
Requirements:
- 6-10 years of experience in international business development, global sales, or strategic partnerships (industry experience preferred).
- Proven success in expanding into new international markets and meeting revenue targets.
- Strong knowledge of international trade laws, cross-border regulations, and import/export practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive-level presentation skills.
- Leadership and project management experience, with exposure to multi-cultural teams.
- Proficiency in CRM and business intelligence tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Power BI).
- Multilingual skills or experience in cross-cultural business environments is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel internationally (3050%).
