Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead business development and client acquisition for our events division.
The ideal candidate will have strong industry knowledge, excellent networking skills, and the ability to drive revenue growth by building long-term client relationships and delivering customized event solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new clients for corporate events, exhibitions, activations, and experiential marketing projects.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring repeat business and referrals.
- Collaborate with internal teams (creative, production, and operations) to deliver customized event proposals and pitches.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, trends, and competitor activities.
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, including proposal creation, negotiations, and contract closure.
- Represent the company at industry networking events, trade shows, and conferences.
- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and insights to senior management.
- Mentor and guide junior sales executives (if applicable).
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Event Management, or related field.
- 4-7 years of proven sales experience in the events / media / advertising / hospitality industry.
- Strong network of corporate clients and decision-makers in Bangalore.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and deliver under tight deadlines.
- Target-driven with a track record of exceeding sales goals.
- Knowledge of event industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
