Role Summary
We are looking for a driven and dynamic Business Development Manager to expand our cybersecurity business in the Mumbai region.
The ideal candidate should have prior experience in selling IT security products/services, strong client engagement skills, and the ability to close mid-sized enterprise deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in cybersecurity (e.g., firewalls, SIEM, endpoint, cloud security, etc.)
- Manage complete sales lifecycle from prospecting to deal closure
- Build strong client relationships and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
- Collaborate with pre-sales and delivery teams to craft suitable solutions
- Deliver presentations and proposals to CXOs and other stakeholders
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings
- Meet monthly/quarterly sales targets and update progress in CRM
Key Skills & Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity / IT security sales
- Strong connects with OEMs and cybersecurity solution providers
- Excellent communication, presentation & negotiation skills
- Familiarity with security technologies (Firewalls, DLP, IAM, SOC, etc.)
- Consultative selling approach and ability to influence decision-makers
- Prior experience with solution-based sales and mid-market account handling
- Comfortable working independently with target orientation
Preferred
- Certifications like CEH, CISSP, or OEM-specific (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco)
- Existing network of cybersecurity clients in the Mumbai region
