Job Title: Business Development Manager (BDM) Construction Equipment

Location: Madhya Pradesh

Experience: 5 - 6 Years

Industry: Construction Equipment / Earthmoving Equipment

Qualification: Graduate / Post Graduate (MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred)

Job Summary:


We are looking for a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager to expand our presence in Madhya Pradesh.

The ideal candidate will have strong B2B sales and business development experience in the construction equipment industry, with the ability to identify new opportunities, develop key accounts, and contribute to revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:


- Identify and develop new business opportunities for construction and earthmoving equipment in the assigned region.

- Generate leads and convert prospects into long-term customers.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, infrastructure companies, and channel partners.

- Support dealer/distributor network in achieving sales targets and improving market coverage.

- Conduct market research to track competitor activity, pricing trends, and customer requirements.

- Assist in preparing proposals, quotations, and commercial negotiations.

- Coordinate with internal teams (sales, service, finance, operations) for smooth execution of orders.

- Participate in industry events, exhibitions, and site visits to promote products and brand visibility.

- Prepare regular MIS reports on leads, conversions, and market insights.

Key Skills & Competencies:


- Proven B2B sales / business development experience in construction equipment or heavy machinery

- Good understanding of earthmoving equipment and related applications

- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

- Ability to identify opportunities and close deals

- Result-oriented with strong follow-up skills

- Willingness to travel extensively across Madhya Pradesh

Preferred Background:


- Experience in construction equipment, mining equipment, tractors, trucks, or infrastructure-related sales
