Role: Business Development Manager Aviation, Aerospace, Engineering & Defence.
Location: Bangalore, India.
Experience: 8 - 12+ Years.
Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve revenue and growth targets across aviation, aerospace, engineering, and defence sectors.
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and emerging markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with CXOs, CEOs, Technical Directors, and key stakeholders in government bodies and private enterprises.
- Lead end-to-end proposal development, including RFP/RFQ responses, technical-commercial negotiations, and contract finalization.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product, finance, legal, and delivery teams to ensure alignment of solutions with customer requirements.
- Represent the organization at industry forums, trade shows, exhibitions, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and expand professional networks.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, customer needs, and regulatory developments to inform strategic decisions.
- Maintain and report on sales pipelines, forecasts, and key business development metrics to senior leadership.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Defence Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 8 to 12 years of progressive experience in business development, sales, or strategic growth roles within aviation, aerospace, engineering, or defence industries.
- Demonstrated success in closing high-value, complex deals with long sales cycles.
- Strong existing network across defence ministries, aerospace OEMs, aviation authorities, PSUs, and engineering organizations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong technical understanding and the ability to articulate complex engineering solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
