Role Overview: We are seeking a high-impact Business Development Manager to spearhead our growth in the Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) and automotive software domain. Based in Pune, you will act as the primary bridge between our advanced technology solutions and the evolving needs of global automotive OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers. Your day-to-day will involve navigating complex sales cycles, engaging with senior engineering and business stakeholders, and crafting value-driven proposals that position our software offerings at the heart of next-generation vehicle architecture. By driving strategic partnerships and executing robust go-to-market strategies, you will directly influence our market share and help our clients accelerate their digital transformation journey in the automotive space. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the automotive sector to expand our footprint in the SDV and SaaS ecosystem. - Manage end-to-end sales cycles, from initial lead generation and solution mapping to complex bid management and contract negotiations, ensuring alignment with client business objectives. - Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers at automotive OEMs to establish our firm as a trusted strategic partner. - Collaborate closely with internal product and engineering teams to translate client requirements into scalable software solutions that solve critical industry challenges. - Develop and execute data-backed sales strategies and go-to-market plans to penetrate new market segments and increase revenue growth. - Lead high-stakes client presentations and consulting-led sales pitches to demonstrate the technical and commercial value of our software products. Required Skillset: - Proven ability to navigate complex enterprise sales environments, specifically within the automotive software or IT services domain, with 5 - 10 years of professional experience. - Demonstrated expertise in consultative selling, with a track record of translating technical SDV concepts into compelling business value propositions for senior stakeholders. - Strong proficiency in managing the full bid lifecycle, including RFP/RFI responses, commercial modeling, and contract finalization. - Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of influencing cross-functional teams and building rapport with C-suite and engineering leadership. - Deep understanding of the automotive industry landscape, including current trends in electrification, connectivity, and software-defined architectures. - Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment in Pune, balancing independent strategic planning with collaborative team efforts. - Educational background in Engineering or Management from a reputed institute is highly preferred to ensure technical credibility with our client base.
