Role Summary:
As the Business Development / Sales Manager, you will be the face of Employee Forums to the corporate world. Your primary objective is to build a robust pipeline of high-value clients (CHROs, CEOs, and Founders) and sell our premium executive search services and HR Tech solutions. You will navigate complex B2B sales cycles, consult with top-tier organizations on their leadership needs, and drive revenue growth in the competitive Mumbai market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Client Acquisition: Identify and prospect potential B2B clients across diverse industries (FinTech, BFSI, SaaS, and Consumer Tech).
- Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term partnerships with C-suite executives, HR heads, and decision-makers.
- Solution Selling: Present Employee Forums unique "Community + Search" model, highlighting our ability to source leadership talent through our proprietary platform.
- Revenue Generation: Lead the end-to-end sales cyclefrom initial cold outreach and pitching to contract negotiation and closing.
- Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor moves, and the evolving leadership landscape in the Mumbai/Navi Mumbai region.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with our Talent Acquisition team to ensure client requirements are met with high-quality candidate shortlists.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute quarterly sales plans to meet and exceed individual and team revenue targets.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is highly preferred.
- Experience: 4-10 years in B2B Sales, Business Development, or Client Relationship Management, ideally within the Executive Search, HR Consulting, or HRMS/SaaS industry.
- Network: An existing network of HR professionals and business leaders in Mumbai is a significant advantage.
- Negotiation: Proven track record of closing high-value contracts and managing complex negotiations.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to "speak the language" of C-level executives.
- Mindset: A proactive, "hunter" mentality with a passion for networking and building communities.
