About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Manager - Business Development & Partnerships to join our dynamic team. You will be instrumental in expanding our market presence, forging strategic alliances, and ensuring the seamless execution of sales operations from lead generation to fulfillment. Key Responsibilities:
- Market Intelligence & Strategy: Proactively drive market intelligence gathering, analyze industry trends, and identify emerging opportunities to inform business development strategies.
- Partnership Development: Identify, evaluate, and develop new strategic partnerships to expand our product reach and market share.
- Startup Engagement: Engage with promising startups in the fintech and allied sectors to explore collaboration opportunities.
- Lead Generation & Conversion: Independently generate new leads and effectively convert assigned leads and referrals into successful business opportunities.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute robust sales strategies to achieve and exceed monthly sales targets.
- New Business Opportunities: Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities, demonstrating a strong "hunter" approach to market expansion.
- End-to-End Sales Operations: Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to contract closure, ensuring 100% order fulfillment and strict adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Performance Analysis & Pitches: Analyze sales performance data, prepare and deliver compelling strategic pitches to prospective clients and partners.
- Key Account Growth: Cultivate and grow key client accounts, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to maximize revenue.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor to ensure high client satisfaction and retention.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product, and Operations, to align on initiatives and ensure seamless execution.
- Team Management (Performance-Based): Take on team management responsibilities, including mentoring and guiding junior team members, based on individual performance and business needs.
Preferred Expertise & Qualifications:
- Experience: 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in the digital payment space.
- Industry Background: Should have held senior leadership positions in tier-1 payment companies/banks such as Razorpay, Cashfree, PayU, Billdesk, HDFC, ICICI, Paytm, or similar.
Payments Domain Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of the Payments & Settlement Systems Act (RBI regulations).
- Familiarity with Nodal & Escrow accounts.
- Knowledge of MCC (Merchant Category Code).
- Understanding of PCI-DSS Compliance and SSL protocols.
Skills:
- Exceptional interpersonal and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical abilities to interpret data and drive informed decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Education: Any Non-Technical Bachelor's degree.
All-Rounder Profile: Exposure to extracurricular activities and a demonstrated "all-rounder" profile is highly preferred.
