The role is responsible for end-to-end ownership of SCM, Manufacturing, and Quality business applications, from requirement definition to vendor selection, implementation, and support.
It partners closely with business teams to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions, leads a small support team and drives continuous improvement and digital transformation across operation.
We are looking for a business-facing IT Lead to own enterprise applications across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality functions.
CRITICAL MANDATES:
- Domain Exp: 5+ years of relevant experience in Supply Chain (SCM), Manufacturing (MES/ERP), or Quality (QMS) applications.
- Industry Focus: Experience in regulated/compliance-driven environments (Pharma/FMCG) is a major advantage.
- Pharma Compliance: Must know GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and CSV.
- Core Capabilities: End-to-end implementation, vendor negotiations, integrations, and leading a small support team (2-3 resources).
Job Responsibilities:
- Business Partnering & Requirements: Work with SCM, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to gather, define, and prioritize user requirements and translate them into solution needs.
- Vendor Scouting & Evaluation: Identify, assess, and benchmark solution vendors and implementation partners aligned to business and IT strategy.
- Shortlisting & Negotiation: Lead vendor shortlisting, commercials, and contract negotiations to ensure best value and fit.
- Implementation & Delivery: Own end-to-end project delivery for new applications, ensuring timely go-live and business adoption.
- Hypercare & Application Support: Ensure post go-live stabilization and ongoing performance of applications through strong support governance.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of 23 resources to support existing applications and drive continuous improvements.
- Thought Leadership & Roadmap: Drive digital roadmap and bring industry best practices to continuously optimize SCM, Manufacturing, and Quality functions.
Qualifications:
Education: BE/BTech or masters in engineering/technology or an MBA in Supply Chain, Operations, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Role requires strong business-facing mindset with ability to bridge business and IT.
- Hands-on ownership expected in a lean team environment.
- Experience in regulated / compliance-driven industries will be an advantage.
- Willingness to work across functions and manage multiple priorities.
- Role may evolve as part of the organizations digital transformation roadmap
