Role Overview:

This Brand & Category Manager - Nutraceuticals role is a pivotal position based in Mumbai, responsible for driving the growth and profitability of a key nutraceuticals category. The role involves developing and executing brand strategies, managing the product lifecycle, analyzing market trends, and optimizing pricing and promotional activities. This role collaborates closely with sales, marketing, supply chain, and R&D teams to ensure successful product launches and sustained market leadership. The impact of this role is significant, directly influencing the company's revenue, market share, and brand reputation within the competitive nutraceuticals landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies for the assigned nutraceuticals category to achieve market share and revenue targets.

- Manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and launch to optimization and discontinuation, ensuring alignment with market demands and consumer preferences.

- Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats, informing strategic decision-making.

- Develop and execute effective marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, and point-of-sale, to enhance brand visibility and drive sales.

- Establish and manage the P&L for the assigned category, monitoring performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions.

- Develop and implement pricing strategies that optimize profitability while maintaining competitiveness in the market.

- Oversee the creation and management of engaging and informative content for various platforms, including websites, social media, and marketing materials, to educate consumers and build brand loyalty.

- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies and provide them with the necessary tools and resources to achieve their targets.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful brand and category strategies within the FMCG or nutraceuticals industry.

- Proven expertise in managing P&L, analyzing market trends, and developing effective pricing strategies.

- Strong content management and content development skills, with the ability to create engaging and informative materials for various platforms.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
